Nebraska is one of two states that award some of its electoral votes by congressional district, effectively giving Democrats a “free” electoral vote from the district representing Omaha. Democrats would never be this foolish in one of their blue states.
State Senator Mike McDonnell, a former Democrat turned Republican who has aspirations of becoming mayor of Omaha, has refused to back the policy and has emerged as a stumbling block to its passage.
Call and email him to back the winner-takes-all policy. During a close election like this every electoral vote matters. It doesn’t matter if you don’t live in Nebraska – this is an issue of national concern.

I am writing to ask that you support the winner-takes-all proposal backed by the Nebraska Republican Party.
As you know President Trump and Governor Pillen support this change.
It would be unconscionable to allow a radical leftist like Kamala Harris to win, and in a close race like this one every electoral vote matters.
